Adobe Max Europe is over and some numbers were published by the official blog: 1200 attendees in Barcelona experienced over 200 sessions. They are now invited to leave their feedback and to log in the Max site for finding the presentations uploaded by the speakers. Since some sessions held in Europe link to the files used in Chicago, here you are my presentation + demo files (for the session Advanced Video Encoding).
Even after a couple of weeks I’m still excited: it was my first Max and the event really impressed me. From the speaker point of view, I had a great experience in Barcelona and a warm support from Adobe Italia. Moreover, I had the chance to stress test and experiment with HD video in the Flash Player. From the attendee point of view, I was amazed by several sessions, by the easygoing atmosphere and by the opportunity to talk with many interesting professionals.
If you weren’t there, taste the atmosphere of the party in this video from Boulevart:

Some of the most interesting things that I saw at Max Europe (in a random order):
Flash Player 10 (Astro)* is a big WOW: advanced text layout, simple 3D effects, and custom filters, blend modes and effects. They will enhance for sure readability / usability / creativity.
Flash 10 / CS4 / “Diesel”* is a double WOW: a brand new timeline animation model. The animators will certainly appreciate this huge improvement, especially the ones already accustomed to After Effects.
Photoshop Express is a serious WOW: I had the impression to see a little Lightroom, but everything was in a browser through the Flash Player. I can’t wait to try it with my hands!
Air is a super WOW: the number of developers and applications is already huge. Air is definitely going far beyond the Projector enhancers.
Content-aware image resizing* is a serious WOW: not a long a time ago I saw a demo and I thought “‘it’s science-fiction”, but one of the inventor has just been hired by Adobe…
Adobe Media Player is another WOW: many have been waiting for a Flash Video Player and this charming peace of software will give us an alternative to the over-sized iTunes.
Creating Interactive Video by Michael Coleman. WOW! I saw a killer trick for exporting tracking points to Flash video.

disclaimer: Adobe is not necessarily going to release the technologies previewed in sneak peaks at Adobe Max or at any other conference.

excuseme if i post it here, but you have some problems with the url of the rss feed.
not the one you linked but that auto-inserted by wordpress.
it points to gantico and not gantico/blog.
i think you misspelled it on the configuration of your feedburner plug-in in wordpress settings or something.
