Hi Jimmy, I can share an entire presentation for compression tips: Advanced Video Encoding. I also recommend to have a look at the Flash video learning guide. These videos were encoded with Flash Video Encoder: size - resolution: 640x360 video - codec: On2 VP6, framerate: 25fps, datarate: 1000 kbps audio - codec: mp3, datarate: 128 Kbps

about the bandwidth, I would say that finally I’m only starting to take advantage of Mediatemple grid server power:

Bandwidth Limit: 1,024,000.00 MB
Bandwidth Used: 705.41 MB
Bandwidth Available: 1,023,294.59 MB

unless you think to watch more then 68,266 times per month one of the above videos, I don’t think that I should care about the Bandwidth Limit…

i love the player you use on this blog.
but how about the waste of bandwidth?
hosting your own video had to be very expansive, isn’t it?
